The food and price is decent. They serve free water. The toilet has warm water. The ambience is very simple. The staff are friendly.
I ate the char kway teow. And the Singapore noodle. Well the char kway teow was very berry good. Finished in 5 mins. The Singapore noodle was more of a fusion of viet n sg combined. It was very good as well..
Do give this place a try.

Got back with their special dish on weekend. This time they had Spicy Noodle Soup $12 with 1 pork trotter, 2 beef slices, 1 pork slice, 2 pork hams with loads veggies as side.
Tasty, with a lit bit flavour of shrimp paste in the soup. Full for one girl.
Dimsim $4/skewer with pork flavour, not too special.

July 2022. To be honest, I was under the impression Yumbox were serving sushi. Maybe that was the tenancy before. The space is very sparse and lacks any character. The kitchen is awkwardly spread at either end of the dining space, so staff hang around the storage area as you arrive. Maybe if they built a wall or hung a curtain over this space, it'd tidy the space. Staff are friendly and meals are priced competitively. Noodles seem to have been a little dry, so possibly packet noodles rather than fresh noodles. It was however still enjoyable.

I’ve had a chance to try Laksa Noodle Soup and Stir Fried Char Kway Teow yesterday. The best dishes I’ve tasted. My friends suggest to try the baguettes so I will definitely come back next time. Good food, good price.

Yumbox has a great range of dishes and friendly service. I recommend Sambal Udon, Nasi Goreng, and Seafood Mee Goreng.
